• The School Diary serves as a ready reckoner for all parents to understand the
philosophy of the school. Therefore, parents must read the contents of the School
Diary carefully and follow the rules and guidelines laid down by the school. The
School Diary will be the main channel of communication with the school. Parents
must acknowledge all the circulars sent through this by signing in the appropriate
column.
• Do conduct at home the activities recommended for home work. This helps in the
optimal development of the child in certain areas like family values and social
interaction that can only be learnt in the home environment.
• Help your child prepare for the performances and presentations in school. This
is a great morale booster for the child. Winning is not everything. Your child’s
participation in the events and celebrations itself gives him/her great exposure.
Encourage your child to participate in all activities.
• Do not pressurize your child with academic work. Rather, give them freedom and
encouragement so that their talents and abilities can blossom. Provide exposure
to the environment so that their general awareness and self confidence can grow.
• As the medium of instruction in school in English, please support through routine
conversation in English at home, to the extent possible.
• You must attend the school whenever invited for PTMs, orientations, Parenting
Seminars and other events.
• You can address all your concerns, queries or seek any other information through
the School Diary. You may also send an e-mail to the school’s e-mail Id.
Parents are the role models and the first teachers to provide direction to their children.
Keeping this in mind, be patient with your child. Love and respect his/her feelings
and choices, spend quality time and encourage your child to maintain hygiene and
discipline. Do not pressurize but inspire him/her.
Refrain from using negative remarks about the school and teachers in front of your
child, as this may lead to a feeling of disrespect towards the school, teachers and his/
her/peers.
